Public parking in Jerusalem

Parking meters are available at Jerusalem. You may find coin operated parking meters around Jerusalem. They can be found along Blue and White sidewalk markings.

The most abundant parking indicators are the checkered color patterns on the edge of the sidewalks. Red/White indicates no parking. Red/Yellow designates that parking is not allowed. Blue/White allows parking. In most cases Blue/White parking requires a parking fee to be paid. The fee is paid at parking meters usually located within walking distance of the Blue/White parking spot. Red / Gray allows free parking under the terms that are written on the sign at the beginning of the marks on the street (Usually only on certain afternoon hours).
